Queenstown Central

A sprawling multi-building commercial precinct. Contego provides fire protection for base builds and continuing tenant changes, upgrades, and landlord compliance requirements.

Three Parks Wanaka – Mixed Retail & Office

Value: $15 M | Scope: Design & Build Passive Fire, Intumescent coatings
 
A large-scale commercial subdivision featuring anchor tenants and flexible office and retail tenancies. Contego delivered passive fire systems aligned with modular construction methods.
 
Highlights: Adaptable systems to suit retail rollouts, fire compliance for diverse tenancy needs.

Montrose House

Home to Dunedin’s court sports including Tennis, Basketball, Netball and others this large facility has been maintained to a compliant condition by Contego.

Works involved in this sporting complex have included Fire door maintenance, new alterations and IQP inspections.

Tekapo Retail Building

Contego have been engaged by Cook Brothers to complete this new build in the heart of Tekapo village. The building is a mixed use retail & accommodation.

Close liaison with Cooks site team and readiness to drop everything to be on site when required are secret to the success of this build.

John Wickliffe House

Contego have been involved with John Wickliffe House & Plaza since 2016 as the preferred provider for Passive Fire Protection.

This 11 storey office building regularly has office fitouts & alterations including multiple government departments including DOC, Ministry of Social Development.

Contego have put in place a proactive managed upgrade of historical passive fire protection defects that can be completed with minimal disruption to tenants throughout this large office building.

ACC Preferred provider

Contego were approached by Project Managers Feldspar in mid-2019 to assist with this rapidly developing fitout & upgrade project. Due to tenant occupancy date there was not sufficient time for full design & the project was literally commencing as the design was commencing. Contego were engaged due to our ability to assist with the design of Passive Fire Protection in a fast pace environment as well as our ability to execute the work on the ground.

Contego worked alongside Feldspar & other trades to ensure this complex fitout & upgrade was completed in time for the >100 staff arriving for work.
